Kentucky is a beautiful state in the east central United States of America. It is also known as the bluegrass state due to the abundance of blue grass in various pastures and lawns throughout the state. Due to its varied environment and picturesque locations, Kentucky has become a favorite tourist destination.
There are a number of attractive tourism sights in Kentucky which are worth visiting. Some of the Kentucky tourist attractions are mentioned below:
• Mammoth Cave National Park: With more than 350 miles of explored passageways, Mammoth Cave National Park has the longest known cave system in the world.
• Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom: Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom is a world-class thrill park and entertainment complex located in Louisville.
• Kentucky Center for the Arts: Located in Louisville, it is supposedly the largest center of performing arts and features a variety of artworks.
• Louisville Zoo: The Louisville Zoo is located on 73 acres in South Louisville and is home to 1,300 animals representing 371 species living in open, natural settings.
